Funds received provide eye-exams, dental exams, eyewear, diabetic footwear, and blood sugar monitors.

Fitness assessments are offered as well as some classes at the Wellness Center which is open on a 24hr basis with key access.

We have many upcoming fun events being planned keep an eye open for your diabetic newsletter or check the Trenton Community Clinic Facebook page for updates.

Native communities are greatly afflicted by chronic diseases like diabetes, leading people to believe that these diseases are inevitable and there’s nothing that can be done to prevent them. This is NOT true. It has been proven that healthy eating along with moderate exercise can prevent diabetes!

By embracing a healthy diet and a lifestyle full of movement we can replenish the health of our communities.
