Helping HAND 2022 Program Criteria

1. Funds are intended to support the rehabilitation of existing single-family housing.
2. Homes must be owned by the homeowner and have property taxes paid up to date.
3. Eligible Helping HAND recipients must submit an application
4. Only one application for each home.
5. Helping Hands funds must be used to address the housing needs of families or individuals with household incomes that do not exceed 80 percent of the HUD median income for the county in which the property is located.  Income verification will be required.
6. Funds for this program are limited.
